I know from CIC website that i can use my old IELTS results, that used for immigration purposes toward citizenship language requirements.
The issue that i don't have the original results transcript, i have only a photocopy of the results dated in 2010 (7 overall score).
I called CIC call centre and asked if they accept a photocopy of the results and not the original score report, and the agent told me that he doesn't know!!
I would appreciate the experience of anyone who submitted a photocopy of an old IELTS results and got accepted toward citizenship language requirement.
I think it's ok to use a copy of an old IELTS report for citizenship application, because people in CIC know that all those who immigrated to Canada and used IELTS as a proof of language proficiency, have sent their original report along with the immigration application and CIC can verify the copy by accessing the immigration file.
The attachment to Notice to Appear to Write a Citizenship Test (called Important Interview Notice) says that "At the interview, you are required to provide originals of the following documents:

... Original proof of language
