Notifications of interest issued for Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities stream
On March 10, 2023, we issued targeted notifications of interest to candidates who may qualify for Ontario’s Express Human Capital Priorities stream.

Candidates only received a notification if they had a comprehensive ranking system (CRS) score of 479-489 and work experience in the national occupational codes (NOC) below:

• NOC 20012 - Computer and information systems managers
• NOC 21211 - Data Scientists
• NOC 21223 - Database analysts and data administrators
• NOC 21230 - Computer systems developers and
• NOC 21231 - Software engineers and designers
• NOC 21232 - Software developers and programmers
• NOC 21233 - Web designers
• NOC 21234 - Web developers and programmers
• NOC 21311 - Computer engineers (except software engineers and designers

You may apply to this stream if you received a notification of interest on March 10, 2023.

If you received a notification of interest, you don’t need to contact the program.

Hi everyone,

Really appreciate the help received here.
I have a concern. I received a NOI from ontario on march 10 which was a tech draw.
The reason I received it is, I believe, because
1. I have 479 CRS
2. I am eligible for CEC
3. The primary NOC I put in EE profile is 21232

The issue I have is, the experience I have for NOC 21232 is less than a year while I have one Year experience in another NOC (22221). Will this pose as a problem?

On the OINP website it stresses that if you are assessed against FSW (which Im not) you need to have 1 year experience IN the primary NOC code.
The same isn't said about if you are assessed against CEC so am I in the clear?

Im really tensed and need to apply in 40days. Someone please tell me that it wont be an issue.

Yes, it is an issue because 1 year is mandatory for the NOC you selected.

HI all,

My EE profile will reach it's 12 month period in mid-June 2023. It's going to expire and the OINP process will take approx. 3 months.

The question is, what happens if I get a nomination but my EE profile expires?

edit: It seems that a PNP nomination can be transferred to a new profile?

Also,

I actually already have a non-EE application using a nomination certificate under the OINP PhD stream.

I then called them if I can apply for another nomination because I want to apply for EE, and they said yes, you can have multiple nominations from the same province!

For FSW: it's atleast 1 year in last 5 years
For CEC: it's atleast 1 year in last 3 years

Not an issue. You can create new profile and inform OINP anytime (during the process or after getting nomination).

Also,

Yeah. It's fine as well. You just need to inform about another application also while filing.

Did you receive the invitation in your EE profile?
