Hello, I am thinking of registering for OINP under the International student stream. I graduated from McMaster University last April 2021, and I was working as Manufacturing Engineering Technologist (NOC-B) from June 2021 till Dec 2021. I changed my job to Manufacturing Engineer (NOC A) from Jan 2022 onwards. Under this stream, I am thinking to apply under NOC - A.
Do we need any sort of work experience under this stream?
Does that mean, my work experience under NOC- B won't get considered?
How many points are required for OINP?
Is it a good idea to apply under this stream?
Hi

Here my 2 cents
Do we need any sort of work experience under this stream? -OINP International Stream does not provides points for NOC B, only NOC A
Does that mean, my work experience under NOC- B won't get considered? It does not give you points. Job offers for NOC A gives you 10 points and NOC B only 8
How many points are required for OINP? there is no limit, but average above 65 is a good score to get EOI
Is it a good idea to apply under this stream? Yes, It's expensive, and long lead time to process the PR, but you could apply just after graduated form College/University and no wait for 1 years of experience for CEC.
Hope it helps you!
