Hello,
I am Refrigeration operator by profession in one of the leading company in eastern Ontario. My company gave me a employment letter as REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN APPRENTICE (72402)
After filing for OINP application , I got information request letter for providing proof of registration as an Refrigeration technician apprentice into ministry of labor and I don't have proof of registration. Is it mandatory to provide proof or is it ok? If it's mandatory, is there any alternate solution for this. I am in trouble and I have only 5 days to submit .

You can go ahead and apply for the registration. Hopefully you can get it in 5 days. There are some occupations that require you to have a certain registration and OINP recognizes that. If you are operating without one you might be denied. Maybe have you employer send an explanation letter that you do not need one.
