I have a quick question, Did your spouse wait for 6 months after landing in Canada to be eligible for OHIP or you can go right after landing without waiting 6 month period?

It depends on your status. For PRs, you're eligible right away. For temporary residents, it depends on other factors. If you provide your status I can provide a better answer to your question.

Nothing to do with OHIP (health care) on work permit. Post under Express Entry and research program in the meantime.
