Hello,
I just recently got admitted in the hospital on emergency basis as I got a bad food allergy.
I did not apply OHIP at that time but I am eligible as I have stayed in Ontario for more than 154 days and working with an employer for more than 6months.
I was given a bill of 1400$ as I didn’t have the OHIP card.
I am gonna apply for OHIP this week and my question is will I be eligible to cover the 1400$ bill by the hospital once I get my OHIP card.
