To those who got the test invite...I didn't get an email (although the CIC agents I spoke to said that since I had indicated email communication preference, I *should* have gotten one). They said to wait for a letter, in case a letter had been mailed.

How many days did it take to receive a letter in the mail after seeing your status updated on ECAS?

Can somebody share their finger prints request letter
So i can have an idea what i am going to get in mine
No time to wait for mine coz it was dispatched yesterday and m leaving the country next week

Did it literally just appear or has it been there all day? DId you receive an e-mail? Where are you located?

Well I am only checking my ecas once a day so when I checked yesterday, 4th line was there, and it was not there the previous day.
I did not received any email, I received letter in the mail after the ecas get updated. I am in Calgary

you really should wait until you receive the letter. They gave me 30 days from the letter date to go have them taken. I personally did mine in commissionaires and I really like their service. I called the CIC today and they confirmed that they have received the results. I know you are travelling but if you are not leaving for long you should have nothing to worry about. best of luck

Applied from Ottawa, single and physical presence is 1409 days.

Can someone answer my question "I haven't received mail of test invitation yet as am current out for travel. The difficulty is my mailing address is different from home address (different city), just curious where I will attend the test."?

For me, it's not the fact that the letter was mailed, it's that the CIC agents said that I should have received an email, and they "don't know" if it was emailed or mailed out. :-\ I mean, come on...

I just got this, read online it's supposedly finger print request? Don't they already have my finger prints? How long before I get the mail if I'm in Toronto?
