Its never too early, better to start reading now when there's no pressure than a couple of days before the test , who knows when they send the invite - one might be busy with other important stuff like a demanding assignment at work/or any other reason..
I try to read it bit by bit during my train commute when going back from work, hoping that when the invite comes in a couple of months - at least the test would be a piece of cake
Try the free mobile apps too, specifically for questions that relate to "dates" - repetition is the best way to have them stick in the mind
I'm not overly obsessed about it or anything...but i'd rather spend 5-10 minutes a day of my idle time than later get locked in a room with that book for a week or 2!
