My wife applied for OCI card through BLS. Now, it has been 5 months but I have not received any communication either from BLS or Indian consulate nor we have received OCI card till now. Online, it shows processing time 6 to 8 weeks only. When I track online at BLS site, sometime it shows no message there while other times it shows name of another person. Can u plz share what’s happened to ur application or u received oci or not??
 
I had planned to move back to India permanently, so I applied for OCI on August 07, 2024. Walk-in submission at BLS Calgary.

I am now in India on eVisa. Hoping to receive the OCI in 3 to 4 months, if not received then will apply for extension at the nearest FRRO office in Gujarat.
 
I recently applied for my OCI at BLS Mississauga on 24th Oct
I can see in the BLS status tracker it says "Processing at Consulate General"
However, I cannot track anything on the OCI Status enquiry it says Record Not Found. Does it take time to get into OCI Tracker?

Can take anywhere between 1week to 2 week or more to appear on OCI status tracking site. Mine took 8 business day to apppear.
