My fiance and I applied for the Skilled Workers Visa in August last year before the Eligible Occupations List came out. He filled in 1122 and 1212 Accounting as his occupations. These are not included on the new list and therefore we were sent a letter stating that that they were unable to process our application at this time.
The job title of Financial Manager is an approved occupation on the list which my fiance's job also would fall under.
Would anyone know if it is possible to reapply with the new job title on the Application?
If the duties of his job are a significant match to the description of Financial Manager in the NOC list then I think you should give it a go. Make sure you are able to confirm this with a reference or similar.
