hello guys i was nominated by saskatchewan under pnp, after working for 6 months, I was issued pr a week ago and i did a port entry to apply for pr card, i was interviewed by officer, they said i have to be in saskatchewan for 3 more years, my question is even after getting pr still v have to b in same province, cant v move, I need to move to other province plzzz answer , r those obligations are mandatory, there is nothing written or was told bfore moving to this province
There are no concrete rules that say you must stay for 3 years. There is nothing you sign that says you must stay 3 years. You sign a document stating that you intend to settle in the province. This must be true when you apply and when you land.
Immigration officers are instructed to weed out people they believe are not planning on living in their PNP province. If they truly believe that they are not going to, they have the right to withhold their PR and make them report to their PNP and pass an interview there. I assume this did not happen in your case so just stay for another few months to show good intentions and then you can go.
