Hi everyone, I’m new in this forum. Me and my family received our oath taking invitation. But one of my family is traveling outside of canada on the date that we were gonna do the ceremony. Is it possible to proceed with the ceremony w/o her. And how long for the rescheduling of the new date for oath taking. Thank you!

Yes you can reschedule Oath for any adult (as kids under 14 do not need to take the oath).
For when the next one would be scheduled, you never know.. It depends on the city you are in and how busy it is.

Hi! My sister just reschedule her flight, and we proceeded with our oath taking last may. I heard it’s hard to get a new oath taking date if you resched. but i’m not sure if that true. And if i’m not mistaken you have to have a valid reason to resched. I could be wrong tho.
