I have been invited to take my Oath on May 10. I emailed them back right away asking to be rescheduled to after July 2 due to some upcoming travel plans.
I haven't heard back and my citizenship application status still says I will be taking my oath on May 10.
Has anyone gone through a similar experience? Is it normal for the status to take a while to change?

I doubt that they will update it. YOu dont need to worry or wait for update about it.
Also they wont give you any date quickly before the existing oath.
