We received the Oath ceremony invite via Zoom meeting.
The format is pretty odd with spacing issues, and not very clean. Also the file number quoted is just for me and not my spouse.
They are also asking for our mailing address.
Did anyone receive such invite for Zoom based oath ceremony? It appears very similar to phishing attacks.

They do not invite you to the Oath ceremony on zoom. Your invitation is by EMAIL to join the Oath ceremony on zoom. In the email that you receive, it tells you how to join the zoom Oath ceremony and what you need to have with you when you join. Your not invited ON zoom.

Thanks, yes that's exactly it. I replied to the mail and they confirmed that spouse is included by default. Also, I thought mailing address is not that personal because so many marketing firms have that already to send us flyers etc.

@skilledworkerapplicant Congratulations! I know this is probably addressed in other threads, but I'll still ask here anyway. When did you apply for citizenship, receive your AOR, sit for your citizenship exam and receive the invite for the oath ceremony?
@Ahmed15@Fawny43@adey786 Did you guys receive the invite to attend a virtual zoom oath ceremony like skilledworkerapplicant? And can you also share your timelines of the key milestones I asked above?

Ahmed15. I applied for citizenship July 25, 2019. Received my AOR on October 11,2019. My application went to in process on November 5,2019.
I did not have to take the knowledge test because I am over the age of 55.
My application went to decision Made on March 24, 2021.
I received the Oath ceremony invite around April 28, 2021
I took the citizenship Oath on May 6, 2021.
I received my certificate of Citizenship on May 14, 2021
I hope that answers your questions. Good luck with the process and I hope it's faster than mine was.
Before the oath ceremony or during it, can we specify a new address where citizenship certificate should be mailed to? I am asking because I may be moving province when my oath ceremony happens
