I have 3 years of work experience in healthcare research in the UK and I am looking for similar jobs in Canada. However jobs in Canada with similar levels of responsibility/salary state that they require 5+ years of experience - is the number of years experience a strict requirement in Canada? I would like to know if its worth applying for these jobs or whether I have to apply for jobs at a lower level? We don't state number of years required in the UK so it would be great to know how this works!
