Quick question/point……..This month applicant thing is very confusing and misleading. The month that determines where the applicant should be posting should be determined by the month of AOR not month of submission. Because the clock starts ticking from AOR, so it would make sense for anyone comparing timelines. I can send my application in January 2022 but AOR is July 2022, then I should be a July application not January. Meaning IRCC has accepted my application in July.
The clock ticks from the time your application is submitted and not AOR. What if the trend is to get AOR in 2 months and your AOR comes 4 months later. What purpose does it serve then to compare with folks whose AOR came on time? If your AOR was delayed, there are multiple reasons to believe that your application is non routine and any other variable involved that could further delay or perhaps speed up your application. It will also mess up the calculators on the tracker. Hence the logic on this forum is to compare with applicants who submitted the same month. Your clock ticks from submission date.
