Notyfying CIC of Changes

Hey Guys, I am a Canadian citizen and I sponsored my wife through an Outland Sponsorship. We sent in our application in which I sponsored my wife and I submitted a copy of my passport. I recently renewed my Canadian passport at the Canadian Embassy/Consulate in Kuwait. Do I have to notify CIC of this change??

Scylla, What if I switched jobs within the same country do I need to inform CIC or my Visa Office? Also, what if my spouse, the applicant, was unemployed and found a job in the same country, do we need to inform CIC or our visa office??
