Notice that CIC received my PR application?

Hi all!

I sent my Inland spousal PR application with OWP application in the middle of December.

Just wondering how long it takes usually for CIC to actually be able to confirm me that they have received my application if they ever do such thing like that?
Do I need to go on the CIC website or do they email me?

I have my valid work permit till next June (most likely till May actually because it's till the very early June), I know OWP can take up to 4month to be issued,, so I'm just a bit concerned if I could get the new OWP before my current work permit expires....


Any advice is appreciated!

Thanks for this spreadsheet, seems to take almost 5 months for the OWP. The site seems to have it right. I guess it depends on errors ect.

One more question if you could answer me please, or anyone!

How do I know the "date application received according to CIC"? (referring to the spreadsheet)

I don't think it's the date that my application package was delivered according to the tracking of post office?
