I have not yet filed my taxes for 2012.
I have 1 t4 for 2012, but I am still waiting for another t4 from a previous employer, this seems to be taking forever to arrive.
Can anyone advise if you have sent your CEC Application without the notice of assessment and then sent it in later once you received it?
I want to hurry and get my application sent, but im so terrified this could turn our to be a huge mistake.
I was thinking about sending my 2011 T4 + 2011 Notice of assesment along with a note of explanation to say my 2012 notice of assessment will be sent as soon as I recieve it.

I have a question on this. In moving from Canada back to Australia I have lost my 2011 Notice of Assessment. I have filed my taxes for 2012 and have the T4 and proof that I have done so.
Can I send my application with just the T4 and the correspondence with taxback.com and state in a cover letter that my tax is currently being processed? Otherwise the only other NOA I have is 2010.
I sent my application without a T4 and NOA, but inlcuded an explanation letter. Received my AOR in just little over a month, and emailed my T4 to CPP-O after, using my UCI and app numbers.
You are fine to send without, just make sure to explain in the letter you attach. And, note that you will be sending those documents once you have them.
**Also, I included my last pay slip for 2012 and the most current, since they show detailed tax contributions.
You can still get the NOA, if you register at the CRA website (takes about 15 days, since they have to mail you an access code) and also you can call them (CRA) and ask them to mail you another copy of the NOA for 2011.
good luck
