Just wondering if anyone has insight on my question regarding the Notice of Assessment or Proof of Income Statement that are required. I still have to file my 2018 tax return, so my statements are both from 2017 and Netfile (online tax return system) is down until February 24, 2020.
Has anyone had experience providing an older Notice of Assessment or Proof of Income Statement and perhaps the latest T4 slips to prove the salary. This is in addition to the letter that my employer has drafted for me.
Just want to ensure I do not get my application returned. This is for a spousal sponsorship from overseas.

Try Simple Tax it's Free... And Easy. Not sure when you will get your NOA but at least you can say you've filed and get a temporary income assessment https://simpletax.ca/
Thanks for the replies. Yes, SimpleTax is what I use, but the software is linked to Netfile, which is integration between a 3rd party and the CRA. When I try to submit, I get the notification that Netfile is down until February 24.
I sent my older NOAs (2015-2017) and all my paystubs from 2019 along with employer letter and T4. As the checklist states, that should be fine for now. I guess they can request the 2019 NOA later on if they feel like it

Package still on the way I put a LOE on this part and explained that I wasn't in Canada during 2018 and had no status whatsoever, temporary or permanent and that's why I don't have taxes filed for 2018 and that I'm attaching everything I have related to my job and income starting from 2019
