notice of assessment and T4s

Hello Friends,

I never received a notice of assessment letter from CRA. is it fine if I print the notice of assessment, 2013 assessment and returns summary which I see online in my CRA online account?
Also I observed there is no printer friendly version for notice of assessment. So i have downloaded the page as pdf and will print this pdf. However, this pdf version does not show my name or any other info. will that work?

I and my spouse had filed combined returns. do I need to send her T4 and Notice of assessment as well?

Also in general, if we send more documentation, does it have any negative impact or CIC will just ignore what is not needed?

You can call CRA for another copy. They'll send in a week

I sent my NOAs and T4s for 2012-2013 in digital format (from CRA website + payroll website). Looks fine to me since I received my AOR.

I also had the same problem.. did not have NOA for 1 year (out of the two years).. I sent the downloaded copy from CRA for the missing year... I got the AOR anyways... However do mention in the cover letter that u are sending the downloaded copies since u do not have the original NOA...

In essence, you are sending photocopies of the NOA/T4s (I hope you are not sending originals!). I guess I did not explain properly in my last response.

What I did is to go to CRA's website, clicked on my NOA for year XXXX and then print it on the printer. And I attached that copy of the NOA to my application.

I did not mention about not having the original NOA or not (as I do). What I was trying to assure the OP was that it is completely okay to attach a print out from the website as opposed to a copy of the original NOA in the mail. They just need confirmation that you are paying taxes and a way to judge how much you are making matches your T4s.

I meant copies of NOA and not originals... of course... Originals are meant only for us and not to be shared or sent to anyone..
