Hi,
Anybody in London got documents notarised? The ones that I have found are very expensive - first ducment for about £50 and £15 or more for each additional.
Is this the normal rate? Has anyone used a less expensive notary service?
Would really appreciate if someone can respond!
Thanks
Kober-Smith & Associates r good.

Thanks Derry.
Just to confirm again - I need to notrarise current contract, past contracts, degree certificates. Any thing else?
Any & every copy that u submit should be notarized.
Thanks!
This becoming very expensive :-(
I was going to include my original birth certificate but i think it is probably safer to send notarised copy!
Talk to the notary, they usually give a discount on volumes.
Hi,
I got a really good notary public based in North London, near Finchley, her professionalism was exceptional and her time management was the same. For my partner and I we ended up spending £700 but we had lots of documents, but everyone else had lots of them too such as 12 payslips, passport copies, marriage certificate, university diplomas, work contracts, ... It sounds like a lot of money but she ensured everything was waxed sealed and wrote letters for each single document... it looked so professional.
We got request for medicals in less than two months, and we keep thinking it is because she did such a great job.
I checked other notary publics in London who were slightly cheaper but did not give me a great vibe, and I do not think that this is a process where you should jeopardise soemthing to save some money.
Thanks!!
Do you have still have contact for the Notary you used?
This is the telephone number and directions on how to get to them. Call them and ask for Rupinder, I think that is how you spell it, not sure, but she is the notary public that did ours and she was very very very good and understanding, she also managed to do my translations for some documents I had and gave me an overall price. I was very satisfied with her. They have other locations but I can only speak for this branch and this lady.

Hope this helps. Check out their website by doing a google search if you want.
Well you have 2 options either Notarize them OR Certify them.... there is a big difference between the 2 terms also the charges. I would recommend you to go for Certify as its very cheap and can be done same day within 1 hour.... Make sure the guy should be commissioner of Oath.... try to search the solicitors in rough areas like Brixton, East ham, Upton Park, or SouthHall.... here you will find very cheap rates... like 5£ for each copy or less altogether like 50 or 60£
Go for it..
Thanks
