My birth certificate is in Arabic and it has been translated into English by a legal translator in Egypt and stamped it.. Is that enough regarding certifying it.

I mean the instruction is quite clear:
everything that is not in english should be notarised as a copy and then translated by certified translator.
To me this does makes sense when you are not submitting original document but copy instead.
However when you do submit original then only certified translation should suffice.
Seniors have I got it OK, or I am missing something here?
I mean what is the purpose of having copy notarised if original is sent along?
