I have been requested to send in copies of my original application forms to London U.K. along with supporting documents ( passport copy, marriage cert etc ). I know the supporting documents ( except police cert )have to be notorized.
My question is : Do the copies of my original application forms have to be notorized.
As far as I know, the main reason for notarizing is to show that a particular document(photocopy) can be regarded as the original document, in the absence of the original document. For the application forms, those are the originals that you are sending and you need not notarize it.
Cheers.
man how can you notarize the copy of the application forms when the orignals are with CIU in Sydney or the Visa Office?? No Notary public will Notarize anything without seeing the orignals, and if they do that's very suprising..
take a look at this http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG74.asp
My understanding is that you need to copy the forms before you sign so that you can place an original signature on each form (or just print 2 copies if you use the computer)
