Not yet received acknowledgement of application in 6 weeks. London outland

We have applied Outland and chose London for processing. Application was sent and received by Mississauga April 4th. Since then, we have not received any correspondence. Not even an acknowledgement so we can track the application online. How can we contact Mississauga office to check on the status?. Thanks

my suggestion is to find the april applicant thread. CIC is just starting April applications, and you will find most are in the same boat as you. I think only a couple of people who applied March 30, 31 and possibly April 1 have received an AOR.

The processing time has increased. There are still a few March applicants still waiting. CIC was closed yesterday, so nothing would have been updated or sent out.

Most likely you will not be able to get a status on the ECAS online system until you receive your SA. Some people report being able to sign in with just an AOR, and most have to wait until AFTER SA. Even though the system suggests using a receipt number will let you sign it, this is not true. It only works with a file number and UCI, which you don't get until SA.

That is true ^^^ I couldn't log on until a few days after SA.

After you join April, find the London Outland sheet. You can request your information be added to the spread sheet (below in my signature) and that can help you monitor where CIC seems to be at.

go on the cic website, and check the current processing time. it shows for sponsorship applications what date they are working on. it is suppose to be updated weekly.
