I am new to this website and i am stuck in one big problem. Please guide me. I am planning to apply for the Canada in 2173 category. This category is for Software Engineers. I have gathered all the documents that are required for immigration process but yesterday it was found that my Spouse and my Son (who is four years old) are expired. It will take at-least 15 - 20 days to get the new passport.
My passport is valid and i am a principle applicant.
Can i apply without valid passport of my spouse and child or is it necessary to get the valid one.
Please go and get them a valid passport.
If all your documents are available,you will meet up before the
capping just ensure you submit by June,2014.

The caps aren't updated immediately since it takes time for CIC to open and review the applications. It will likely take a few weeks before any cap information is posted. Once the cap information is posted, you should assume it is several weeks (at least 4-6) behind.
