5 years back, I had heard that the immigration process to canada (from India) takes 4 or 5 years.

Is the processing time still the same? I know, the process could be delayed if they ask for additional documents and all.

But let us assume there was no additional document requirement>> Then do you know/heard of anyone who filed in India, and got their PR within 1 or 1.5 years and could go to Canada recently (in skilled worked-NO arranged employment-category)?

(processing time= time between the the submission date of ur PR application and the date of visa stamping/approval)

(processing time= time between the the submission date of ur PR application and the date of visa stamping/approval) = a minimum average of 1 Calendar year.
