I got a question. I started work with my present employer on a NON qualifying NOC position. I worked on that position for about 6 months and got promoted to qualifying NOC position in October 2014. For the initial 2 month,(oct 2014 and nov 2014), my pay was same as I was training for the qualifying position and later, i got a raise as i took up all the responsibilities of the qualifying NOC on December 18.
Now my question is does my job reference letter need to mention my NON qualifying NOC experience too as I am still working for the same employer? Does the reference letter needs to mention all positions held, including roles and responsibilities for non qualifying exp?
I am planning to use my work experience from 1 January 2015 to 7 February 2016 for easy documentation as i will only provide 2015 T4 and NOA plus all the pay stubs issued in 2016 to prove 52 weeks paid experience to VO. My manager is not very keen to write all my roles at the initial position. How should i go about it.
