Hi Folks,
I took an upfront medical exam as I was expecting an ITA soon. My medical notification printout says : Non-EDE & Worker category. It has an UMI number at the top right corner. Is Non-EDE & Worker OK or is there any problem as I am seeing some posts having issues with Non-EDE & Worker category.
Seniors please provide your comments.
Thanks
I got PPR and I had the same medical type.
Thank you Sir, I was very tensed!
I too got the same one as you, and so did my friend and he activated his pr last week so all good

Thanks that sounds relieving Banff! Best of Luck for your application.
I was also tensed and there are people who got rejected with same type.. So not sure what CIC is doing...

Mine says Family - EDE. File submitted on 09/01 no update

First, mine also said Family -EDE, as did my partner's. We have our CoPRs.
Second, I think by now we can put to rest the idea that the medical problem causing rejections was in that classification. It apparently was not. So non-EDE-Worker, EDE-Family, the vast majority of people with both have got PR -- it is not the issue. The issue seems to be how some applications were assessed by CIC medical employees, and, hopefully, they have corrected that by now.
