Dear All,
Humble request , somebody in this forum will be able to advice about Non clinical physician jobs in HEALTHCARE or in PHARMA INDUSTRIES or INSURANCE or SENIOR LIVING or ELDERLY CARE ORGANISATIONS or as a ORTHOPEDIC TECHNICIAN or ASSISTANT according to my expertise. in any provinces in Canada .I'm particularly interested in this opening , which relates strongly to my nearly 22 years of experience in Medical Operations, Patient Care, Consultancy Services and family medicine and emergency medicine and as a junior orthopedic surgeon
· My degrees are verified by medical council of Canada and Epic-Ecfmg.Kindly advice me .Thanks so much .God bless all
hi thanks for the reply , please do note that I am seeking a employer inside canada from any provinces and not from outside canada and very much interested in healthcare jobs as non-clinical physician jobs .Please do advice
Do you have a management degree? Where is your experience from? Do you have experience in these management roles or have you been working as a physician. Even if you are a PR it is difficult to get a healthcare management job without Canadian experience. If you are above 40 you will struggle to qualify for PR. It is extremely hard to get job offer from abroad especially if you aren’t legally able to work in Canada. You won’t find employers or jobs on this forum. Where did you go to medical school and do your training. There are other countries in need of orthopaedic surgeons.

Hi I know its a difficult task and impossible mission, but trying doesn't cost anything. I am having more than 23 years of experience in Medical Operations and management and as a family physician and as a resident in orthopaedic. I am looking for non clinical physician jobs. As you mentioned about other countries, can you please advice me. As for canada as I have so many years of experience in medicine, I thought maybe a asset for the elderly care organisations in the administration area. God bless

You aren’a geriatrician and aren’t knowledgeable about how the Canadian health system works. You can certainly apply for jobs but I would say chances of acceptance are quite low.

I would advise that you search for "entry level" " no experience" required type jobs in job bank.
Alberta has very few of such jobs now. But that was how I got my first job as a general laborer at McLeod Windows in Edmonton. I basically installed jambs and sills on to PVC and wood window frames. They trained me from scratch. I too have an orthopedics background as a resident.
I am IMG. I did my family med residency at the U of C from 2013 to 2015 and am a family physician in Calgary now.

Thats called determination doc, glad to hear now you are family physician , hope you must have completed your MCC licensing exams also or just completed residency in family medicine for 2 years

If you read the story it has a lot to do with luck. Most IMGS are able to clear their licensing exams it is the residency part that is a problem. Getting an orthopaedics residency will be difficult and you may not be able to get a job at the end of your residency in many specialties,
Would suggest the UK, US and would look into Australia and NZ.
Would also add that Younger IMGs have an advantage over older ones. The programs will want to get years of practice out of the doctor they train. If you have 23 years of experience you must be over 40 so how are you going to qualify for PR?
