i applied for PR and my application is being processed at this moment and i'm waiting for the PPR , and i have my wife in the file as a spouse.
if want to change the status of my wife to (non - accompanying), should i do this before or after receiving the PPR?

Yes you should change it before because by the time you get PPR the PR has already been approved for you and your spouse.
