Hi everyone.
I have a question. To get more point i am thinking to apply with my common-law partner as non-accompanying. Before I apply I would like to ask a tourist visa for him.
Do you think it is possible once he get the visa and once Im there, that he comes with the tourist visa, and while there I apply to sponsor him with the in-land route? Can I get him an open work visa?
With a non-accompanying spouse, do the financial requirement is for 1 or 2 persons?
Thanks in advance
I am very interested in this. Hipe someone has an answer

Hi
No one can say whether a TRV will be granted or not. If it is, you can apply for inland sponsorship.
Your non-accompanying partner must be included in the app, so you are still required to show proof of funds for 2 people.

What if applied for his TRV before I am accepted for the Permanent residence? Do you think that would still be a problem? :s

The problem is that you are trying to "cheat" the system. You cannot legitimately claim that your spouse is "non-accompanying" if they have already in fact accompanied you. It *should* be grounds for misrepresentation (not saying that it has ever happened to anyone, but it could).

No, it's not a problem.

is there non-accompanying spouse has to do medical test?

Yes. A non-accompanying family member is still included in the app; they must undergo the medical, fill out the forms and provide all PCCs and documents.
