Hello
I applied for PR visa under Spousal sponsorship category.
Recently, I have received a letter from IRCC asking for medical test done for both of my non accompanying child and myself.
But, the panel physician in BANGLADESH doesn’t want to perform a medical test for my child as she doesn’t have any passport .
A case regarding my child's custody is in process in the court. My husband has not shown up on any dates in the court and it’s most likely that I am gonna have a sole custody for my child.
Currently, without the sole custody document I am not able to apply for child's passport as my ex husband won't provide any required documents from his side.
During my application, I informed cic in detail regarding this matter. Now, they are asking for medical exam within 30 days, but the panel physician has done my medical test but not my child's one.
What should I do in this situation?
Expert's opinion will be highly appreciated .

Thanks for your suggestion. That Panel physician did my medical test and kept the letter of my child's one. She told that she would send an email to the corresponding authority to get their advice regarding this. If they give a positive response , then she would perform the test. Just curious to know, is it really mandatory to have passport for a non accompanying minor child? As, I did not have to provide any passport information during my application when I ticked on the non accompanying tab. What is the rule actually? Appreciated your cooperation.

As far as I was aware, a passport wasn't required for a medical for a child. That's why I say you should email the RMO. They are very good about responding quickly.
