Non Accompanying Dependent children

Few things I would like to clarify. Im sponsoring my spouse (outland) she has two children under 18 from third party. Kids are living with their dad and will not be accompanying to Canada.
their listed as her dependents.

1. Fees- we wont be paying for dependents that are not coming correct?
2. Signatures? Following the the checklist, very last pages about signatures, says for form IMM5406 "Additional Family Information" that all other family members of the principal applicant must sign. Can someone please verify.

1. You don't pay fees for non-accompanying dependents. (when they are requested to do medicals, then you will have to pay for the medical tests)
2. Only accompanying dependents above age 18 have to fill and sign their own forms. Otherwise its just your spouse
