My issue is that my job title is NOC 4012 (Teaching/Research Assistant) and my duties are that of NOC 4011(Professor and Lecturer), i.e. I teach undergraduate and graduate classes, construct their syllabi and grade them, at a university in US. I am currently enrolled in PhD. Which NOC should I use on my express entry profile? I can get letters explaining my duties as NOC 4011, but the title on award letters remain that of NOC 4012.

My advice is to go by documents you have.Because you have to provide documents related to your NOC in eapr stage.please stick to 4012.try to get a Roles and responsibilities letter matching 4012.
To the contrary, this is what CIC website states: (No mention of Job Title- duties must match)
In addition, during that period of employment, the applicant must have
performed the actions described in the lead statement for the occupation as set out in the occupational description of the NOC [R75(2)(b)]; and
performed a substantial number of the main duties, including all of the essential duties, of the occupation as set out in the occupational description of the NOC [R75(2)(c)].
Thank you very much. I have worked as Teaching Associate doing lecturer duties for 6 years in my PhD program. Does it count as FT or PT employment, since we do not get paid hourly.
