Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
This site is very useful and informative...

I would like inquire regarding what NOC do you think I belong, which is critical since I have read some were declined using different NOC.
Im planning to apply and just very new with the procedures.
Im browsing currently on the NOC, and quite confused with the codes.

Here is my job profile:

- 8 years experience in manufacturing firm - IC assembly (5 yrs maintenance work and 3 yrs supervisor+maintenance)
- 2 yrs overseas manufacturing process engineer- TV Assembly (process/supervision/assembly)

I'm a certified Electronic Engineer.

What do you think is my NOC?

Thanks in advance for the support ;)

I think this is your NOC: http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2006/Profile.aspx?val=2&val1=2133

If you don't like it, you can probably find some other NOC's you might fit under but it depends on your exact job duties and how well they match. Job duties are more important than titles but you are an electronics engineer and you are working as one so I think that is the most obvious NOC.

This site is very helpful:

Write your title(you guess yourself) in the space give, it will give u relevant titles with NOC Codes and Skill Level/Type, whether 0,A or B. It gives u detail of duties too, so u can match with yours.
Once u select the code which suites u. Then u'll be directed to the options to select the Province where to settle, then city and then u'll get all regarding ure occupation, be it;

1) Outlook & Prospects for this occupation
2) Is this a priority occupation
(http://www.workingincanada.gc.ca/content_pieces-eng.do? cid=941&lang=eng)
3) Job opportunities
4) Wages

and much more

Here is another link reading "Tips on Coding"

Hope it helps

You can see a NOC search for assistant manager here:

http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/noc/english/NOC/2011/SearchKeywordResult.aspx?val11=assistant+manager&val12=0&val13=0&val14=&val15=0&val16=0

You may fall under:
0621 Retail and wholesale trade manager
sassistant manager – food store
assistant manager – retail

However, you should click on it and compare the job duties to yours to make sure.
