NOC code

hello everyone,
I am planning to immigrate to Canada along with my family,
I was creating express entry profile.
I am facing one issue of NOC code, as i am currently serving in Paramilitary forces in India as an officer.

can anyone help me with selecting the NOC for the above job profile.

Search “military” and it will bring 3 or 4 NOCs. I assume you have completed IELTS and ECAs.

already searched with military
I am getting 4313 and 4169.

If I am going for Police
then its 0431

So are you a commissioned or non commissioned officer in the military or in the police? 0431 is for police officers not military. There is another NOC for commissioned military (captains, generals etc.) but I don’t know the code.

yes , I am commissioned officer in Paramilitarty forces,
its duties and role falls in between military and police, with overlapping functions too.

As long as your employment letter matches the NOC, you are fine.
