I'm confused between 2 NOCs for my work experience. I've mentioned all my job duties here (exactly as they appear in my employment letter). Can you please check to see if this belongs to NOC 6235 (Financial Sales Rep.) or NOC 6551 (CSR - Financial Institutions)?
Open new registered and non-registered investment accounts like RRSPs, TFSAs and Margin accounts for clients followed by all the other account opening procedures like providing access to online brokerage services and sending clients the required documentation for acknowledgement.
Promote business development by proposing and cross-selling products and services offered by iTRADE to better meet clients' investment account needs.
Address client inquiries and process requests in an effective and efficient manner (e.g. registered contributions and withdrawals, internal and external account transfers, cash movement and online trading platform education).
Use platforms like FlightDesk, Trading Desk and Scotia Online to maintain and provide accurate and timely market statistics for stocks trading primarily on TSX, NYSE and NASDAQ.
Acquire and maintain a detailed knowledge of internal procedures and related IIROC legislative policies along with working as a liaison between the clients and other banking departments for the overall growth of Scotiabank.
If you think this belongs to any other NOC, please feel free to inform.
Its tough one but you have to decide yourself as you know ur duties more than anyone. I would just suggest to look in Job bank.ca for same position vacancies n look for which noc they have assinged.
Also you can sent email to Hrdc for clarification but they will just give u suggestion n you have choose.

Hi Jaymin007
Thanks for replying. The confusion is that some of the duties match with 6235 (sales aspect) and some with 6551 (service aspect). The NOC page says that FSR performs 'some or all of the following duties'. I used to perform some of those main duties. The question is, ATLEAST how many duty resemblances will categorise my job as 6235 strongly.
