I am planning to study at College in Canada and wondering whether i will be eligible to apply under Canadian Experience Class.
NOC says that Computer programmer occupation is type "A", which means - University degree is USUALLY (but not always i guess?) required.
However, the description of "Computer programmers and interactive media developers" says that:
A bachelor's degree in computer science or in another discipline with a significant programming component
OR
Completion of a college program in computer science is usually required.
Specialization in programming for engineering and scientific applications requires specific post-secondary study or experience
The name of my study program is "Computer Programmer" it is a 2-year diploma (NOT postgraduate)
Shouldn't be a problem if you have work experience to back it. I have no diploma at all (I dropped out to start a business 4 years into a 5 year Comp-sci masters program) and nobody complained yet - I'm past medical and waiting for PPR

It was a single, 5-year program that would have given me masters + engineer's degree if completed (it's fairly common in Europe). Since I haven't finished it I have neither and no bachelors - technically just a high school diploma.
