Hi all, I am currently applying for permanent residency status under CEC.
My work experience classifies under NOC 2173 Software Engineers, the job did not require a license to be hired and work. However, applying under CEC, will a license be required to work experience under NOC 2173?
Thank you for your time!

I know a friend who was in a similar situation.
Have you checked out
NOC 2174 Software Developers? This might be safer. Engineers do generally require a license to practice. My friend simply went with
NOC 2174.
No license required for software developers or engineers - not that kind of engineer.
