NOC 1122 'Professional Occupations in Business Services to Management' has an example title 'point of sale system manager'.
I am employed by a large multi company private group as a Senior Manager (IT). For 3 years in last 10 years, my job responsibilities
included managing a team of people in the area of a Retail ERP system and Point of Sale solutions. The job function included analyzing the operations and functions of all group companies of the organization in order to propose, plan and implement improvements in systems & processes area. The role is more of an internal consultant's role for the organization's group companies.
My education qualification is MBA (Marketing).
Would I qualify as a 'point of sale system manager' ? Does one have to be an external consultant in order to qualify for NOC 1122 ?
