I worked for one of the large software companies as a "Staff Software Engineer" (in job offer letter) for 1 year. I played the role of an Engineering Manager and had 5 direct reports in my team. Internally, my role was Engineering Manager.
I got a reference letter from the Director who I used to report to and he clearly mentioned my title as "Staff Software Engineer / Engineering Manager" and also listed my duties which included people management, hiring and decision making.
In my EE application, I have claimed this experience as 0213 (in addition to other positions I've held with other companies under a Engineering Manager title). Is there anything wrong with the dual title nature of this job I've held?
