Congrats .... this shows something will happen with 0213 applicants.
Kindly keep us posted and dont waste much time for medicals, get it done as soon as possible before they change their mind again
I introduce myself as fairly newbie here on this web forum. Like many of you, I too applied for immigration in the month of May 2010 (in category 213 which got closed after a month). I received my NS approval in late September and forwarded to the file to New Delhi High Commission in Nov 2010..I received confirmation that it has been received in late December and since, then it has been a long wait..So, any idea guys who much time it will take? When I check the status online, it just says received by visa office...In the letter, it was mentioned that it generally takes around 10 months...
Someone was saying that it might take 2 years..does 2 years means the time when the application was first filed? kinna time lagguga

Not bad with punjabi actually, Well nobody knows exactly what is in store for us all but some people have got it in reply to their queries that it may take near about 2 years from 2nd AOR.

To ek gall dasso..2nd AOR ton tuhada matlab hai ki jab file ND HC pahuchi..Mere koll 24 dec 2010 ki receipt hai from ND HC..Toh, phir 2 years from 24 dec 2010 .....online status >>>>file received dikha raha hai..
Accha..how easy is it to apply for jobs sitting here in india..I have heard that chances are really bleak to get a job from india..

That's right you will not get interview calls once they see that you dont have canadian PR. But if your Indian company is sending you to their branch in Canada that will definately be a plus ...
My application was filed on 4th June 2010 for Nova Scotia in 213 category. I received response back on 30th Sep 2010 and I filed all the paperwork for which I received response back on 24th Dec 2010. After your posting, I checked my status, it still shows RBVO. I am expecting some action very soon

If you check the receipt letter received from Delhi High Commission, it mentions that average time is 10 months and if no reply is received for first 6 months, then embassy can be contacted?
