No Update on Application for 6 Months-Anyone Else?

I submitted my application on September 3, completed biometrics, and received an update on October 17. Since then, there has been no further progress. Upon following up on April 14, I was informed that only one stage of my background check has been initiated, with two more remaining. It has now been six months, and I am uncertain whether this delay is typical or if it indicates a potential issue.

Apply for GCMS notes to find if there are notes explaining the cause of delay. You will also find the current status of your application in GCMS

No. The SLA alone is 6 months. Without GCMS/CBSA, no one should throw the SS argument.

for Vancouver visa office even 7-8 months no update is pretty normal on normal files.so relax...it will happen soon
