I have sent my application to CIO in Sept 2009 and they received it exactly on 9th of Sept as indicated in the FEDEX delivery note. I have not received any reply from them yet. Can anybody guide me what to do now? How long should I wait before enquiring them about the status of my file?

You have to wait for atleast 2-3 months time for there responses as per X'mas & new year holidays are coming it will hold for a while .
