my test is scheduled on December 4th 2013 in Mississauga, but i was wondering if as per the current trends i would also get my citizenship oath notice in 7 to 10 days after i finish the test provided if i pass the test......but i don't see if there are any citizenship ceremonies scheduled for Mississauga or Scarborough office in December 2013 as per cic website
i applied my citizenship in September 2012 and recently got notice for test.
At least from my experience you get the Oath invitation on same Day as test. I guess they do wait for certain number to accumalate given that there is only 1 judge so it might go to Jan. Nevertheless is you will have a date soon.
I have Oath Ceremony on December 4th at Glen Erin.
Passed my test on November 18th ( they tell you right after test if you pass or failed)
and guess what mine status NEVER showed on E-CAS!!!
not when I applied, not when I got test dates, not even now with ceremony date.
so just keep checking your mail box 8)
From my understanding the Mississauga timelines are quicker than Scarborough.
Just some quick questions since you are writing the test soon:
Do you know where one can get these correct answers about Toronto or if you could answer pls?
Who is your city councillor, alderperson, reeve or regional councillor?
. What is the name of your mayor? ROB FORD (I know this!)
What is the name of your provincial representative (member of the Legislative Assembly, member of the provincial Parliament, member of the National Assembly or member of the House of Assembly)?
What is the name of the premier of your province? KATHLEEN WYNN
Which political party is in power in your province or territory? Conservative?
. What is the name of the leader of the Opposition in your province?
Thomas Mulcair or Tim Hudak? (New Democratic Party) ?
What is the name of your lieutenant-governor or commissioner? David C. Onley

@canbhagat: I'm also one of the candidates that took the test on Dec 4th. How was your experience and did you get an invitation to take the oath yet? Thanks!
