My legal first name is extremely hard for english speakers to pronounce so I use a sort of a nickname for daily life. That’s not a legal name registered anywhere. I have never changed my legal name whatsoever. I do not sign any documents with that name.
After submitting the post ITA form, I’m required to explain that name. Do I need to do make an affidavit or just explain it in a letter?
Although all my legal documents including the employment letter are under the legal bame. Everybody I know recognizes me as the alias and my business card is with the alias. If Cic ever calls my boss and gives my legal name, my boss wouldn’t even know who they are talking about. So I declared that I have a nickname/alias.

Hi, I'm in the same situation. I just wonder do you have any format of LoE that you are going to use? I'm just not sure how I'm going to explain clearly this to CIC. Thank you
