Guys my wife is pregnant and she is 4 - 5 days away from completing her 3 months and she needs to get checked up, I don`t know where to go since she doesn`t have her OHIP and I am not sure how much it costs to get a checkup is there any way that I can get her OHIP earlier
She is a PR
I will pay for her to see a doctor but what are the costsÉ I been told they reach over 1000 which is insane, there must be someway she can get checked up she is having alot of symptoms and she is afraid what they could be
The costs will really depend on what health care / test she ends up needing. So I think it's difficult for any of us to guess. I would start by taking her to a good walk-in clinic and go from there.
You could check this link as well

I haven't been to any of the Community Health Center so I cannot vouch for how good they are, but if cost is an issue, you could try them out.
My husband just went to a walk in clinic and it cost $ 80.00 Try calling some midwife clinics and see what they can do .I know when i first came to Canada i was pregnant and i had to pay for all my visits. Hope your wife feels better soon.
I work for a Community Health Centre and most CHC's have to see Newcomers to Canada that do not have OHIPs already. Most clinics at CHCs are called Newcomers Clinics.
