New visitor visa application from India

Hi all,

I am looking to apply for visitor visas for my in-laws to get some help during our new baby’s arrival in August.

What are the timelines currently and is it likely to get biometrics done from India and get their visas before August this year?

(They have visited canada in the past. Their visas got expired. They did not need Biometrics on their last application.)

Biometrics are currently not happening in India - people have flown to Dubai and Nepal to get theirs.

Can someone please share the process for getting biometrics done from Dubai or Nepal. Did anyone get their TRV application processed and received the visa post getting the biometrics done from Dubai or Nepal? Please suggest.
