New Visas and Travels post AOR - do we need to inform CIC

I received AOR in January. I am primary applicant and my spouse is also in my application.
My spouse is based in Canada on a work permit.
After AOR, my spouse obtained a US visitor visa. He also regularly travels out of Canada to US/Mexico for work (one or two trips a month). I have traveled to Canada as a visitor once in March.
Do we need to update new Visa details and travel details through case specific enquiries? Or is this not needed?
